My name is Ravi Shekar, resident of San Francisco Bay Area since 1999. I have been practicing the craft of making inspiring photos and videos for a very long time, and I have shot and cataloged more than half a million pictures and published 50,000+ pictures free for the community on my Facebook page and also on YouTube.
I specialize in Photography/Videography of Indian classical dancers on stage and pre-event photography in a studio for wall canvas, online profiles, photo books, and event brochures. I have photographed dancers of all styles, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Odissi, and many more folk forms. I have years of experience working in almost all schools or college auditoriums, temples, and performance theaters in the bay area. I understand the theater lighting, position, angle, and the right moment to click during the dance on the stage. I have spent time with hundreds of dancers and musicians of Indian origin in the US, and provide the best coverage possible for once-in-a-lifetime moments.
